So this one comes from a search and rescue officer and he says it starts like this. One of the most intense experiences I've ever had happened to me involved a search of a young woman who had gotten separated from her hiking group. We were out until late at night because the dogs had picked up her scent. When we found her, she was curled up under a large rotted log. She was missing her shoes in her backpack, and she was clearly in shock. She didn't have any any injuries and were able to get her to walk back with us to basseops Along the way, she kept looking behind us and asking us why that big man with black eyes was following us. We couldn't see anyone, so we just wrote it off as some weird symptom of shock. But the closer we got to Base, the more agitated this woman got. She kept asking me to tell him to stop making faces at her. At one point, she stopped and turned around started yelling into the forest, saying that she wanted him to leave her alone. She wasn't gonna go with him, and said she wouldn't give us to him. We finally got her to keep moving and we started hearing these weird noises coming from all around us. It was almost like coughing, but more rhythmetic and deeper, like an insect. I don't really how else to describe it. When we were within sight of bass ops, the woman turns to me and her eyes are about as wide as I can imagine a humor can open them. She touches my shoulder and says, he says, to tell you to speed up. He doesn't like looking at the scar on your neck. I have a very small scar on the base of my neck. It's mostly hidden under my collar. I have no idea how this woman could have seen it. Right after she says it, I hear that weird coughing right in my ear. I just go jumped out of my skin and hustled her back to ops, trying not to show how freaked out I was, But I actually I was really happy when we left the area that night ends. Look, then that's all I get think. So this guy has a search and rescue career, so he's seen some ship. Actually, I have another story from him that I'll be reading later. Okay, so he's seen some ship though, Yeah, he's he's a lot of things, you know, and as he goes out and does these things, he does most of us working From from what I've read about him, he's done most of us working in the woods whirs people get lost. So this stuck out to him. Yeah, that sounds crazy, But I also know that sound he referenced. I don't well, it was like a something that my brothers had heard when they were out in the woods at night one time, and it was a very similar sound. And it's like a sound like that, and they could never forget what it was, but they had referenced that exact same sort of sound for a we're talking like a frog? Sad are we talking not like a frog? And then make like a croak and it's more like someone coughing basically, but in a rapid sound like that. This is a freaky one. He had a scar on his neck. And who do you think there she was referencing? Could see it? I don't know, But if she was out in the woods and hiding, you know, potentially from whatever it was you're seeing before they even gone to her. You know, it's hard to say if there was maybe another person following them on the way back and maybe ducking behind trees or shrubs or something whenever the search and rescue team would turn around. Or paranormal or sinister in your opinion, that's everybody word. It is that paranormal or some people being sinister, actual people. I when I read this, I was picturing people, or more than one person. Actually, I don't know about the scar thing, but everything else just made me think that someone was following them or possibly in the woods. I don't know. She also could have been having eaten some sort of fungus or something, some sort of psychotropic substance that was growing that she ate for food or something. How long had she been out there? The story doesn't say exactly how long. They said that they were out longer than normal during the search because the dogs had still had their still had her scent, and so that's why I kind of led them to search even further on until late at night, so I would guess just that day. How old was she? He says, young woman, So I'm going to guess probably twenties. Yeah, not a kid, No, MM, it's psychedelic drug. So if she had been missing for any like, I don't know if psychedelic lasts that long. You're saying maybe shade some bad shrooms in the woods. Woods? Look, is that you're saying sort of a fungus growing somewhere, maybe misidentified something. Some funguses can last up to eighteen hours, so it could be something like that. Okay, real or not real? What do you think? Oh? I think it's absolutely real. I thank this guy's credible look looks not thinking it, but uh no, I think the story is probably true. What exactly happened? I have some debates on it. Could be a person people, or she was seeing things hallucinations, you know. That could also be brought on by starvation or dehydration. So depending on how hungry or dehydrated she was to begin with, that could also effect what she sees. Well, we know one thing for sure, we're gonna hear from this guy again, and I think only like this guy seems to be brave. So I'm going to say this for this gentleman, evidently fear is not a factor for you, who was never a fact of no rob. I would say that for anyone who does does search and rescue. I'm always into especially the what was it Alaska State Troopers that show, and they would have to do some crazy rescues too, so anybody's doing that career definitely has my uh my, my respect,
